Creating the book you want

After you’ve invested so much time writing your manuscript just the way you want it, the final book should be exactly the same. We offer several types of book.

Trade Paperbacks

Our designers will work with you to produce a book that is every bit as professional as any in bookstores. In a industry standard format of 140 by 216 mm, or 5.5" by 8.5", this book takes advantage of the latest print technologies, making it extremely affordable. All of our softcover books are Trade Paperbacks. This means that they are the same size as a hardcover edition and that the paper used is of superior quality to most mass market paperbacks.

Hardcover books

Our hard cover books feature either a durable 4 colour case laminate cover or cloth binding (blue or grey), an embossed spine and a full colour dust jacket. Your hard cover edition will be assigned a unique ISBN.

Our standard page size for hard cover books is 216 x 140 mm or 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Other formats can be accommodated, please contact us for details.

Hard cover books have a higher page count requirement than our trade soft cover books. The hard cover format requires a minimum of 108 pages in the final printed format, this equates to approximately 34,000 words in manuscript format.

Colour and children's books

Our standard page size for colour books is 216 x 216 mm (8.5 x 8.5 inches), all colour books are currently produced in softcover only. Colour books requires a minimum page count of 17 pages in the final printed format. Books with a page count of 47 pages or less are saddle stitch bound, all other books are perfect bound. Other trim sizes are also available please contact us for more information.
