Library cataloguing provides the globally recognized indexing required for libraries and researchers.

Library cataloguing has been organized by national libraries around the world to provide a mechanism for creating a database containing classification information for all books. Local librarians, when receiving a new book, will access those databases to retrieve cataloguing information.

Here's the note we print inside your book on the copyright page:

A cataloguing record for this book is available from the Library and Archives Canada. Visit www.collectionscanada.ca/amicus/index-e.html

As our main editorial offices are in Salt Spring, Canada, Spire Publishing registers all books through Canada's national library - however, your book's cataloguing information is available to booksellers and librarians around the globe.
